GUI Design Portfolio
Our goal is to focus on the users and understand their tasks, making the use of an application just as important as its functionality.
While every system or web application has different UI/GUI considerations and objectives, we believe a good user interface design must be intuitive and easy to use.

| UI & GUI Design: Web application module Client: ICIC - The Israeli Credit Insurance Company UI & GUI Challenge: Most web application projects are ongoing; applications are launched with preliminary features while over time more features are added - in this case, a whole module. These ongoing changes and improvements may create new UI behaviors as well as new application templates, even though there is no planned UI or GUI infrastructure to answer these new issues. The challenge in this UI & GUI project was to add a new feature/module to a working application, without changing the existing structure or design of the application. Shine Has Successfully Met These Challenges By: • Completely understanding the application surroundings and its current UI & GUI concept. • Introducing new features and modules, which will improve the application usability and user experience, while relying upon the existing user interface and graphical concept, making it easier for the application current users to adapt to the new features. |

| UI & GUI Design: AppSpeed Application Client: VMware UI & GUI Challenge: The AppSpeed application, a plug-in in the VMware VI Client, provides proactive performance management and service-level reporting for applications running within virtual machines. The client wanted to add a new module to the application, presenting the Shine team with two challenges, both UI and GUI: The UI challenge was not only to find an ideal solution for new interfaces in an existing application, but also to create a user interface that will be easily integrated in correspondence with the VMware VI Client surroundings and guidelines. The GUI challenge in this project was to bridge the existing AppSpeed application GUI with the VMware VI Client, while presenting the combined graphical design within new interfaces. |
