"I work for Xorcom, a manufacturer of open-source-based telephony systems for businesses. I have just completed my second Web site project with Shine. Obviously, I was sufficiently satisfied with the first experience (several years ago) to return to Shine for the latest project.
On both occasions I found the team to be creative, responsive, professional and above all, committed to our success. However, unlike the first project, which was done in standard HTML, on Shine’s recommendation the second project was designed and built using a Content Management System (CMS).
I was adamant that the new site be search-engine friendly, as well as easy to construct, expand and maintain. I was wary of using a CMS, since our last Web site at Xorcom was built using a CMS that I found to be rigid and cumbersome.
